HOW IT WORKS?

HOW IT WORKS?

...Feed your hungry mind!

"HOW IT WORKS" is a British Magazine, available through CODIP-Compagnie de Distribution de Presse (http://www.codip.mu/), Foreign Magazines distributor in Mauritius. You can buy the this magnificent Magazine in the magazines section of your local Supermarkets (London WAY, Tangs WAY, Shoprite & Jumbo Score etc etc..)

About the Magazine:

How It Works is a new magazine that feeds minds, providing nutritious entertainment to the ever-growing ‘QI generation’ of readers. It’s a new, accessible, entertaining science and technology magazine that delivers absorbing articles packed with fact and opinion to fuel the imagination.

Loaded with fully illustrated guides and expert knowledge and with sections dedicated to science, technology, transportation, space, history and the environment, no subject is too big or small for How It Works to explain. How do sharks hunt? What’s a black hole? What’s inside a nuclear submarine? How was the London Underground built? How do iPhones work? Every month How It Works answers hundreds of fascinating questions likes these; educating and enlightening knowledge-hungry readers around the world

The Magazine is divided in the following 6 sections since it's launch: Environment | History | Science | Space | Technology | Transport. There's also an associated website (www.howitworksdaily.com) and a live forum (http://www.howitworksdaily.com/forum/) where you can ask questions to experts. Each month the Eds select a question from the forum to publish in the Magazine. There's no online version on the Magazine itself though, you have to buy it to get access to the wealth of information provided inside. Each month you get at least 900 verified facts published, and thats pretty fun for feeding the mind. And I've noticed that the Magazine doesn't contain too many annoying publicity mingled with the main articles like many other Magazines. The magazine is simply great...for now. Let's see if it keeps the standard in the years to come as we are only at the 9th issue containing 919 facts.

I think the price depends on the current exchange rate of Pound Sterling (presently selling at : Rs.48.55), the current selling price on shelves is Rs.385)

Please note that i'm in no way connected to the Magazine to make cheap publicity for it, it's just that i appreciate it a lot and i think it's worth the price to feed the mind. I wanted to share this experience with you!
